Good GOD, it's been a long time since I've posted anything! I'll bet all my deviant watchers have abandoned my very unproductive existence ! I have been rather busy (just started my freshmen year at the Columbus College of Art and Design), but decided to do a little something in what little spare time I can manage to scrounge out of my days. This is simply a quick, 3-4 hour concept painting done in Photoshop. Not real sure where the idea came from, but for oh so many years I've had visions of a character I had created placed in interesting landscapes. If I get around to doing any more of these any time soon, I'm sure you'll all begin to notice the same character(s) appearing in all of them.
This is really intriguing... I love seeing concept work from artists - it always gives you such a greater "window" into imagination than any realism can portray, no matter how well done. This is great stuff.
Thank you. And yeah, it's the same guy, but I've thrown that name to the wind. I've actually started on a portrait of him in Photoshop, so we'll see if it satisfies me enough to post it out here. Thanks for the fav too!
very good job!, my only critique is that the pattern is too sharp, everything else in the image has a blur to it except for that so it looks sorta out of place

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
